TRACKS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of 400+, members dedicated to using, promoting, preserving, and protecting these multi-use trails in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. TRACKS was officially formed in 1987, and our volunteers build, maintain and improve the White Mountain Trail System (WMTS), under the authorization and cooperation of the United States Forest Service (USFS) and Arizona Game and Fish. TRACKS members serve as trail stewards and trailhead monitors and volunteer many hours to keep the trails clean and safe. In 2019, the TRACKS trail crew worked 1759 hours on the trails. We also assist the USFS and the regional community on special projects, such as building trails at the White Mountain Nature Center, Humane Society of the White Mountains, and Blue Ridge Middle School.

TRACKS members meet monthly, and have organized trail crew, hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing activities. Complete the form above if you are interested in joining TRACKS (free membership) and receiving our free newsletter with calendar events!

Those of us who love the forests and work hard to build and maintain the trail systems, sincerely want all users to have wonderful experiences and to share those experiences with those who follow us. Each of us doing our part to preserve the forests and wildlife habitats is one way of sharing our meaningful experiences with future generations.
